We want everyone to be able to use this website, whatever device, browser or assistive technology they use. We hold the websites we build for clients to the same standard.

The standard we work to

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. That includes keyboard access to every interactive element, visible focus states, sufficient colour contrast, text alternatives, clear form labels and errors, and respect for your system’s reduced-motion setting.

The animated introduction

The home page opens with an animated, scroll-driven introduction. If your device is set to reduce motion, you’ll see a still version instead. You can also skip it at any time using the “Skip intro” link or the “Skip to content” link available from the keyboard. All of its text is available to screen readers.

Known limitations

The 3D artwork in the introduction is decorative and hidden from assistive technology. If anything else on this site is difficult to use, we want to know.
